WNA is located in beautiful Northern Michigan. The success of a horse business depends on the bloodlines used in it's breeding program. The bloodlines need to include not only Champion horses but also horses with the ability to pass on their Champion traits to their offspring.
The bloodlines of the stallion and mare are important. Stallions with the above traits are in high demand. The quality of a bloodline can be judged by the number of times a stallion with that bloodline has been bred. WNA has the bloodlines of seven of the top 25 and 11 of the Top seventy Arabian sires including, Aladdin, Bask, Bay-Abi, Bay El Bay, Padron, Fire An Ice, Huckleberry Bey, Desperado V, Sundance Kid V, Pro Fire, Strike, Raffon, Comet, Meczet, RDA Desperado Kid, WC Chonco, Bey Shah, Fame VF, Amazing Fame V, and Pro-Metheus CA.
Also we have used some great Quarter Horse sires that are well know to produce quality half-arabs that have gone onto be become US National Champions, i.e. Poco Van Star. Our breeding program relies heavily on the bloodlines produced by Sheila Varian, a well recognized and very respected breeder in the Arabian horse world.
